A friend is someone we turn to when our spirits need a lift. A friend is someone we treasure for our friendship is a gift. A friend is someone who fills our lives with beauty, joy, and grace. And makes the whole world we live in a better and happier place.

She was born on september 19,1984 in zanesville ohio to her parents david harper and deloris wheeler and she was deliverd full term natural birth.She got yellow johndish at age 1 day. Which left her staying a extra day in the hospital. we went back that next day and they let her come home with us where she did just great till she was 11 days old. I had her on my lap feeding her bottle to her.I turned her on her stomach across my lap to burp her. I look down at her and she is turnin blue i pantic i grab her up and i run out side to where my older brother was cuttin wood. I screamed omg help me please she is blue my brother came runnin over to where i was standin he grabs her out of my arms and turns her upside down smacks her on the bottom and she turns back to her regular color. My next to oldest brother goes gets his car we get in the car and take her to hospital. When we get her there they look at her and they say see nottin wrong may have been chokin on lint on her blanket. So they seent us home and she did fine at home till she had turn 18 days old than we was going to my mothers house for a visit and when we got there she was doin good. We was gettin ready to take my mother to the store. We go get in car and drive down the road and she was sittin in her car seat. I look over at her and she is blue again. So we pull over in a parkin lot and take her outta her car seat we turn her upside down like my brother had done and she came back to color again well than about 6 times she just kept turnin blue so we rushed back to the hospital and they checked her out again told me same thing that time said she was chokin on lint again i told them i am not leavein this hospital till u call her doctor and get him in here and let him check her out well doctor got there and he checked her out. He said he couldnt find anything wrong but that he wanted to admitt her in hospital so he could run some test on her. well the test was ran and it came back that she was havein sezures so he kept her in hospital about 2 weeks tryin to find a medicine that he could use to control them.well he found one. So after the second week he dismissed her to go home She did great on the meds till she was 2 months than she started having more sezures so we went to hospital at that time she was admiitted again and test ran again she needed her meds changed so the doctor changed her meds again. And after bein in hospital a week she was sent home to where she did great till she was 6 months at this time she got a high tempture and was weezing bad tookher to hospital and they ran xrays and she had phomna. So they had to admitt to hospital again put her on meds to get rid on phomna.She remained in hospital for about 10 days. They released her we took her home. everything went great till she turned 9 months she had got sick again fever and chest conjestin. We took her back to hospital she had test ran again came back she had phomna again so the doctor sais he was gonna run some more test they run a upper gi test and it came back she was asperatin her food up into her lungs.So we stayed at hospital 7 days was sent home and she was great. At age 1 year she got sick again we took her to the doctors office he checked her she had phomna again so he admitted her to hospital again ran iv and gave her meds we were there about 7 days again and at this time doctor thought it would be best if he sent her to columbus childrens hospital to see what they thought should be done about the asperation.Well the doctors up there thought it would be best to do surgery on her and give her a feedin tube which would be goin into the stomach.So after about 2 days at childrens hospital they set up her surgery and we went down to operatin room. They sent me and my sister to waitin room to wait till tube was in than she went to recovery and was ther about a hour. They sent her back to her room in hospital where she slept most the time. About 4 hours after surgery i was sittin in a rocker in her room i look over at her and she was blue i tell my sister go get the nurse she is blue. The nurse comes in checks her and calls for code blue. They come in and do the shock thing and she came back.We remained in hospital for 6 weeks after the surgery. I had to go through classes to learn to change tube and dressings and how to feed her right. So after the 6 weeks of trainin we was sent home and i had to get a hold of medical people to get her tubes and dressin and tape. She did great till she was 14 months old. And than she got phomna again we took her to doctors he checked her chest said it sounnded like phomna and he told us to take her to hospital and have her admitted tp peds.So thats what we did she spent a week in hospital.Than we went home every thing went so good till she turned 2 years old.back to the hospital for phomna and dehydrtion and sezures and they admitted her again they started a iv and put her on meds they had to try different sezure meds to control her sezures we ended up in haveing to go back to columbus they ran a lot of test on her there to see about controlin her sezures they ended up sendin us home and at that time i lived close to a nurse she was nice and had me to come to her house and she showed me on a grapefruit how to give my daughter shots so for 6 weeks two times a day i had to give her shots in the legs and the hip. That controled her sezures untill she turned 4 than the sezures started back up againand the phomna. we took her back to doctors and it was same thing again he had to adjust the meds get her sezures under control. she had missed alot of school due to all the times we had to spend in the hospitals.At age 4 1/2 she started turnin worst the sezures was gettin really bad so the doctor sent us to cinsinte to a hospital there so he could see if they could help her any better than the hospitals here in ohio or columbus. So he got on a bus and went to the hospitals there we spent 3 weeks there waitin for them to find the right meds to control the sezures.So they found the right meds and they got them under control again we went home where we was till age 5 1/2 than back to hospital at this time they had to check her tube in stomach cause she was still havein problems with gettin phomna they had to take the tube out and put another in as she grow she had to get tube changedwe spent week and a half in hospital than was sent home.And she was fine till that one nite i had got her feed and dressed and gave her meds and got her ready for bed for school. That next mornin i went to her room she was layin on her stomach which she had never done before i went to turn her over and she felt ice cold to me so i turn her over and her chest was blue i started to scream for her father i told him something was wrong he thought i was jokin about it i said how can u thank i would be that sick as to joke about our daughters life. He came upstairs and he looked at her he said omg she is dead i said let me do cpr and he said its to late u cant bring her back i said let me try he said no he went down stairs and called 911 and than him and my neighbor took me and our 2 sons over to her house. And than i saw them bring a hurst and than i lost it i tryed to get out door and they held me back so tahn that nite they took me to hospital to get a shot to calm me down and help me sleep. The next day was her showin we went to it it went really well lots of people showed up and than it was time to leave i didnt want to leave her i had never left her side ever so i grab casket and i pull it over with her. They told the kids father and my brother if she does this tomorrow nshe wont get to go to grave service. So i did ok till we got to service that i passed out. So this is why i call her my miracle child. This is one of the hardest storys i have ever wrote i hope this helps people understand me more and know what i went through with my daughter. But one thing i do ask is for people never to feel sorry for me cause my children are my life .And at this time i have been raising my handcap son whom looks just like her for past 19 years and i will contiue to do so intill something happens to me that i cant take care of him any longer than iam hopeing that my 17 year old will be able to take care of him when i am no longer able to do so. all my children are my life kids make things special without them we would be notting.so please tell your loved ones every day that you love them and what they mean to you cause life is short and we dont know what it has to hand out to us till that day comes so please tell your children you love them. written by her mother Dee

I went through life as a nobody every since i was a little girl i was always made fun of called stupid ugly u name it i was called it and as i have grew older my self esteem has gotton lower I tell myself iam fat ugly stupid retarded not worth any thing and i tell myself i would never find a person who would want to spend a life time with me It is hard for me to make friends and keep them cause i have been hurt so much in my life It makes it hard for me to trust people i have had a rough life but i keep goin I wont give up on life till God says its my time So when you see me around you will say theres that lady who is a nobody and when you think you meet a special friend who will stand by your side and all of a sudden that friend hurts you with there lies so that is why iam a nobody

You are a mircle to me Someone who entered into my life over 2 years ago Some one who is always by my side when i need them the most Someone who makes me laugh when iam sad and down in the dumps Someone who has never turned there back on me or brushed me off I know you cant always be around when i need you to be but when you are around you make my day brighter Its like my heart has a shade coverin it But than when i talk to you the shade lifts and the sun takes over you are like my best friend my soulmate someone to share my ters with someone to share my laughter with someone to share my deepest secerts with someone who iam glad that entered into my life and we have had rocky times but our friendship is so strong we work the roughness out and you stuck by me through it all you are my angel in heaven you are my best friend and soulmate you will remain that way for eternity you hold a special place in my heart you mean more to me than any my other friends cause you are the one and only true friend and that is what you mean to me I Love you friends
