So I am reading the posts about the red shirts and laughing pretty hard. The story is obviously a fabrication to tug at your heart strings. So is Old Yeller, but at least I like the dog in that one. More importantly, the call to action is to wear a red shirt. WTF?! How does this truly support the troops. By giving them a morale boost? I have a better option. Bring them home. Then, instead of them thinking, "wow, all those people wore red shirts", they could be thinking, "cool, I didn't get shot and am home with my family". Seems a bit better, doesn't it. So how do we do it? Easy, write your Congress person a real letter, not an email. Every letter they receive counts as 10,000 voices of their constituants. The only thing that makes them work is the fear they will get voted out. The more voices they hear in favor of pulling the troops, the quicker it will happen. While we are safe at home, please think of all the troops and civilians that have given their lives in this war. Direct death tolls are over 700,000 and indirect death tolls are over 300,000. What, you thought the US had only lost 4,000 people? I'm not talking about the US. I am talking about the 1,000,000 people we have killed, most of which were civilians. So, while you are carving up your Christmas meal, feeling patriotic, try to remember a family like yours that has nothing to do with the war, sitting down for dinner and getting the door kicked in, getting thrown around and searched and yelled at in a language they don't understand. Maybe you could be one of the many lucky families where the father gets shot, the mother gets slapped around, and the daughter gets gang raped by soldiers. But they do that all for you. My buddy hit me up a short while ago. He and his family lost their house in all this mortgage crap. Amazing turn of events. He qualifies for a loan that he shouldn't have been given. Nobody questions how much he said he makes per month. He knows he can't make the new payments when the loan shifts. The lender doesn't check anything, just pushes his loan through. The real estate folks don't care since they are selling another house. Everyone down the line is fat, dumb, and happy and nobody questions how this guy can afford this house. It sucks that my buddy and his family are now in a small appartment, but it is truly amazing the amount of greed demonstrated by everyone in the process. Bush signed the Sallie Mae, Freddie Mac bailout today. Amazing a company can do bad deals out of greed and stupidity and then get rescued by the government. I wish I could do everythig wrong and then have somebody give me a bailout. Gotta love greedy dumb people in power.

Pelosi could have just stopped funding for the war and forced a withdrawl, but instead her and her bobbly-head bitch Harry Reid just cry about shit. And fuck the Democrats in the US. You pussy mother fuckers could have voted in the last two elections, but most didn't. Single mothers were not out in force. Minority vote was not out in force. Young voter turnout is supposed to be huge this time, but all you little bitches just talked a game and did nothing the last two elections. You are just as much of the problem, assholes. I protested. Santa keeps skipping my house every year. I mean, I'm usually a good person for like a week before Christmas. That seems reasonable enough to get a hi-five or maybe a couple drink vouchers at the VA. Ever since they closed down the local Elks Club I've had to search out new establishments with cheap PBR and senile bar tenders. This year I am going to wait for the fat man. That's right, I am going to sit up all night and when I see him lean out of his sleigh to take a dump on my roof (which he conveniently makes look like bird droppings, but I know it's him), that's when I pull out the 12 gauge and take out Rudolph first. Next come Donner, Blitzen, then Sneezy and Dopey. And then the last two that I think are named Larry and Sergey. I've been gone for a while and I know any of you with half a brain missed me. Any of you with more than half a brain couldn't give two shits and were probably hoping I was falsely imprisoned at Guantanamo Bay, getting repeatedly butt-fisted by my cell mate, Akbar. Well, the jokes on you - his name was Abdul! I decided to stop carrying my 1978 ghetto blaster and get me one of them new fangled digital music players for all those MP3s I keep finding laying around the web. I quickly realized every pencil-dick halfwit has an Ipod and really want to punch every little fucker I see with those lame white dangling headphones. Creative and iRiver are 2nd rate hacks. So I got a Microshaft Zune. I mean, it has to be compatible with all the other shit they make, right? Wrong. Big wrong. Big wrong kick you in the nuts wrong. Even though the software is a hack of WMP (look it up noob), it still doesn't integrate. You are forced to use their shit-ass zune interface. OK, I figure I'll deal with it. But no, I can't deal with it. I make changes to the albums and the song titles and there is no fucking way to tell the software to update it's fields. I close it out and reopen it and nothing. And it sees some of my albums as like 20 albums with 1 song each. God damn this crap. Seriously - writing good software is not that difficult. Just look at what Baby Jesus did here with a budget of $23, an old 8086 IBM PC, and an IQ of 74....

Everyone around me is whipping out their own lingo. All the hot rodders are saying 'krazy, kustom & kool'. The geeks are dropping 'CGI Joe' and 'crapplet'. Even the hood rats are waxing 'boojie' - the ghetto version of burgoisie. But when is the last time you heard someone use 'nards' in a conversation? "...man, she put the kung-fu grip on my nards...." or "...dude, you must have nards the size of bowling balls.." Fuggit, I'm bringing it back! From now on everyone will get the word nards in their profile comments - "...what do you call that hairdo? it looks like nard fuzz..."
