I hate these stupid columns, but I cant very well let you completely rely on my scandalously good looks to win you over. That would be vain...and then Id have to take a picture of myself without a shirt on, and it's quite frankly too cold in my apt for that. So it has come to this. Cars and art are my passions. I have amazingly found a career that satisfies both my loves. Im finishing my last semester learning auto body customization and just picked up my first project car. Its a 68 El Camino. For now, that and work take up most of my time. If I have free time its usually spent on this damned computer or watching movies. As far as my personality is concerned, if it werent for my dry wit and cynicism, I dont think Id be sane. If you dont laugh at the stupid people they will drive you mad. I enjoy singing in my car, dancing in the mall, wearing stupid hats, and pretty much anything else I can do to embarrass the people Im with. Its just my way of showing people they need to relax and forget about what people think about them. I LOVE philosophy and philosophical conversations. Im finally coming close to completing my own philosophy to the point in which im content with its form. My view on myself is dauntingly muddled. I compare myself to the cliche marriage counselor (if you know anything about marriage counselors, they are almost always divorced at least once). I have trouble figuring myself out more than I do figuring out others. So i will share with you what I do know about myself. I happen to have an opinion or view on most things and will share them with you whether asked to or not. I really need to work on that. People dont like it when you point out painful truth's to them. People also need to learn how to discern condemnation and constructive criticism from one another. Im horribly complex, to the point i cant even understand why i do what i do from time to time. Im outrageously good at procrastination. I think i work better under stress. However, when there are things in my life that need to be changed in order to make me happy, I move quickly and am not afraid to dispense anything or anyone from my life that interferes with that realization. Im also frightfully inarticulate; another thing i need to work on. My ineptness at clear communication (partly to blame because of the y chromosone) has been my downfall in more than one experience. I do however understand the absolute NEED for it in a relationship, because of this im workin on gettin better at being clear about what I mean when I say something. Ive found out that no matter how brilliant an idea or view is, incorrectly suggested or presented, it can be misconstrued as utter stupidity, just as a stupid idea can be made to seem brilliant with proper presentation. With that said, I hope this presentation was enough to get you to stick around.
